Displaying a collection of vintage finds can be a great way to decorate. Collections can be made based on form, color, subject, manufacturer, or use. They can be simple & orderly or robust & frenetic. Time spent on Flickr resulted in the following examples. Enjoy!

Target, I Love You So

During a recent trip to Target I found these shiny, retro bread boxes. They look like pieces of candy!

Because my Target was out of the red ones—and that is going to be the accent color in our kitchen—I went to the Target web site. A search for "retro kitchen" lead me to these awesome and affordable finds. I heart Target.

The Color of 2010

In December Pantone unveiled the color of 2010: PANTONE 15-5519 Turquoise. I can't think of a poppier mid century throw back!
